The voting is officially over for the proposed second amendment to our CCRs. Unfortunately, only 55.38% (or 211 out of the 381 lots) voted. We did receive 194 votes in favor of a change to the roofing language, but that is not enough as we need 2/3 of all lots in favor (254 votes) . All other proposals had less votes in favor, so no changes will be made at this time to the CCRs for PVHA. Several people volunteered to be on the architectural committee, so the board will work with them to determine next steps.
ABOUT
Providence Village is a subdivision of single-family homes in the Village of Gurnee, Illinois (Lake County). The neighborhood is well-maintained with homes following a Cape Cod architectural style. Homeowners are governed by a Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions maintained by the Board of the Providence Village Homeowners Association, and by the Village of Gurnee.
The majority of homes in this community are colonial or traditional style single-family homes. They were built between 1980 and 2001. These homes offer 3 to 5 bedrooms and 1 bath to 4 bathrooms. Residences range in size from 1165 to 4456 square feet in living space. Prices of homes for sale in Providence Village currently range from $320,000 to $547,500.
